How to Care for Your Linens

As consumers of fashion, it is our goal and responsibility to care for our clothes and keep them in good shape. That said, we'd like to teach you how to take care of your linen clothing.

The sun causes the colors in your clothes to fade. Hanging your clothes to dry under the sun can cause a natural bleaching process. This is particularly true for linen, which is made from natural fibers.

In order to prevent the natural fading of your linen clothing, follow these simple steps:

  • Make them colorfast or resistant to fading by soaking them in a salt-vinegar-water mixture before regular washing. Mix 1/4 cup salt and 1 cup vinegar to a gallon of water, and soak your garments overnight. Wash as instructed on your garments' care tags. For more info, check
